The Hotel Terral is the only Habaguanex hotel located at the Malecón, the famous Havana’s coast-line avenue. In front of the so-called “city’s porch”, the installation owes its name to its privileged location, which facilitates the building receiving the nocturnal air currents blowing from land, in Spanish called “terral”.
One can describe it as an urban hotel, of modern and avant-garde design. The building’s decoration has been the work of a group of Cuban craftsmen, who have used black wood as the primary and prevailing element. The ambiences, recreated with motifs of nature and movement, light boxes with images of 

mangrove swamps, river beds as well as lamps adorned with fishes, make of the lobby a singular space.

It offers 14 rooms: 12 of them standard ones, decorated with photos and colors of the sea-bottom, and 2 junior suites, at the building’s top floor. The exclusiveness of its private terraces, and the ambience recreated in its interiors, of Nature’s land, with colors and images reminding fauna and vegetation, provide these spaces with their own identity. Minimalist, and undoubtedly elegant, the Hotel Terral stands as a show-case to the Caribbean Sea and a compulsory stopover at the city’s littoral.
