Villa Caburni is located 800 meters above sea level in Topes de Collantes, and was built between 1955 and 1956 for senior staff, mainly doctors working in the former Sanatorium Center, today the Kurhotel.
From 1959 onwards, it became home to teacher trainers and then tourism workers. In 1983 the facilities were brought back to life and prepared for tourism.
It provides accommodation services, buffet or à la carte dining, snacks and Cuban and international drinks. It is located in an area classified as a Protected Natural Landscape, and is designated for use in Specialized Tourism or Nature program. Non-hotel services are provided in six National Parks, each with its own dining services, one of them in a cove only 12 nautical miles from the Ancón Peninsula, the others all in the mountains. Villa Caburní is ideal for singles, couples and family nature lovers, located 800 meters above sea level.
